JEREMY LEE
As a third-generation San Franciscan with deep roots in the local Chinese community and in public education, Jeremy Lee brings extensive advocacy experience to the City College race. Jeremy has been an affordable housing advocate in Chinatown for over a decade and has a long track record of assisting low-income seniors and families. He is a passionate fighter for the needs of our communities and has worked for pro-labor candidates like Jane Kim and Chyanne Chen. As a member of the SF Redistricting Taskforce, Jeremy fought against the disenfranchisement of San Francisco’s marginalized Black, LGBTQ and marginalized communities by opposing undemocratic gerrymandering.
Jeremy is committed to continuing CCSF as a student-serving institution by maintaining Free City and increasing enrollment by protecting non-credit offerings. By focusing on relationship building, navigating diverse perspectives, and offering transparent, data-driven solutions to challenges the college faces, Jeremy is highly qualified to represent a wide array of stakeholders and cement real change.
Jeremy is endorsed by City College Trustees Susan Solomon and Vick Chung, the San Francisco Women’s Political Committee, Supervisors Connie Chan and Chyanne Chen, former Assemblymember Tom Ammiano, former Board President Norman Yee, Free City Champion and Former Supervisor Jane Kim, community leader Reverend Norman Fong, and others.
