WHERE WE STAND
-
Free City College is essential to offering San Franciscans a chance to enrich themselves and increase their own economic opportunities. Leah, Bunny, and Jeremy strongly support fully funding Free City’s credit and non-credit programs. San Francisco voters overwhelmingly approved the funding structure for this important program, they will advocate alongside the community to ensure the program remains. They understand that protecting Free City means working with the Board of Supervisors and Mayor to align efforts and help champion any future ballot measure for Free City.

Muni and BART are critical to keeping San Francisco moving and fulfilling CCSF’s commitment to ensuring equitable, accessible and affordable high-quality education. Bunny, Leah and Jeremy believe that protecting Free City also extends to providing reliable and affordable transit that our students, faculty and CCSF community rely on to attend classes throughout the city.
This essential transportation is currently facing major budget cuts which is why they are supporting Prop H and the Regional Transit Measure this November. Both of these measures are critical to keeping transportation fully funded.

Jeremy, Leah, and Bunny are endorsed by organized labor and are committed to workers’ rights and concerns. They support all workers at City College in securing contracts that ensure fair pay, safe working conditions, good benefits, and increased job security. This support extends to student workers on campus, who are asking the college to demonstrate that it values the work they do to support the college and its programs, including standing against cuts to their hours and organizing for greater job security.

Our students and the community deserve to learn, work and live in an environment free from violence and harassment. There is no place for harassment, sexual violence or gender-based violence in our community. Bunny, Leah and Jeremy believe people who come forward and take all reports seriously. All three candidates are committed to ensuring the CCSF community provides accessible resources, support and pathways to report abuse without fear or retaliation. They believe in holding individuals who engage in harassment and violence accountable and will take appropriate action to address harm.
